In L4R, we believe that an artistic approach is a force for having a more conscious and active vision of the world.
Our main objective is digital inclusion for young people in rural and peripheral communities to integrate the use of new technologies as a mode of expression. In our conception of digital inclusion, we adopt a broad perspective that recognizes the synergy between digital art and performing arts. We believe that these two disciplines can not only coexist, but also enhance each other, giving rise to unique and contemporary artistic experiences. Our pedagogy has an approach mainly based on the application of creative and theatrical techniques that are then transformed through digital art to create joint artistic works, working in groups and generating social transformation. We use different theatrical techniques, pictorial techniques and digital software as mediums. We believe in the importance of the democratization of technology and we want to decentralize art and community creation in large urban centers.
For us, it is important to create places where people can meet, create, confront and learn together. We believe that art is a way to keep memory alive, educate, and resolve conflicts.
