Genova per noi, Genova non è finita
Genova per noi, Genova non è finita. This work stems from the need to keep alive the memory of what happened during the G8 in Genoa. Twenty years later, a group of artists and activists began a theatrical research in collaboration with DIMANO Press magazine.
The creative process behind this performance is a journey through three different narrative dimensions: images, music, words. The use of the body to investigate the violence that occurred, the creation of atmospheres through music, and video projections that recreate environments, writings on the walls. All the materials used were recovered just as it happened twenty years ago. The reading of original texts by people who witnessed those days unites three voices, three stories, three lights that illuminate the scene from the Genoese squares to our days.
