Clara Román

Theater operator and interdisciplinary artist focused on video art and performance. Born and raised in Madrid, the city where she began her theatre studies. In 2012 she moved to Rome, Italy, where she graduated in Drama, Cinema, and Digital Arts at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". She specializes in theatrical pedagogy in childhood and adults. Her artistic research blends physical theater and videomapping techniques applied to stage dramaturgy.

In 2018, she co-founded the collective L4R with Tiago Branchini, an artistic association where creation happens through a cross-disciplinary vision, touching areas such as painting, photography and theater to produce video installations, theater shows, digital scenographies and educational courses for all age.

In 2021 she won the scholarship Re.Sto.Re master's degree, specializing in Social and Community Theatre. Clara has been a part of the “Ogni Giorno. Contro la violenza sulle donne” a educative theater project against violence on women in the italians schools by Baraonda Associazione di resistenza culturale. She also colaborates with  national and international theater companies like Neko Teatro (Spain), La Furibunda (France), Ebasko Teatro (Italy).
